As you, of all people know, ACORN has been fraught with embezzlement, faulty procedures, illegalities and financial irregularities. Maybe under-served, urban communities can actually help themselves without the help of these useless organizations. (Remember when ACORN tried to avoid paying minimum wage in California, claiming they could hire more people (who could then starve or get WIC or whatever). Time to clean house.
